MOVE over Ledley King, there’s a new record-breaking goal-grabber in town.
The former Spurs captain went down in history when he scored after just 10 seconds for Tottenham in their Premier League game against Bradford City back in December 2000.
But on Saturday, speedy striker Conor Campbell bagged the fastest goal ever recorded in the Camden and Regent’s Park Youth League when he netted just six seconds into Kentish Town Football Academy’s Under-11s League Cup quarter-final.
What made Conor’s feat even more remarkable was that it was opponents Pro Touch Soccer Academy who kicked off the match!
