Another great day of football on the park today.
Lots of good football in the younger age groups. The U8s showing absolute quality as they won 4-1 in the first game of the day. A tough lesson for the U9s who were 2-0 up with minutes to spare and in total control, but then somehow saw themselves go down 2-4 in a crazy last few minutes. Our U10s – still recruiting and building a team – had a tough game, improving but still a lot of work to do.
In the older age groups the u11s continued to show their brilliant potential as they won 1-0 in their U12s league game, playing a physical side a year older than them. Some great photos from Kaya Skaanes below. The U12s struggled to hit the target, in a frustrating match in which they missed the contribution of their U11s colleagues – off playing their own game.
Finally, our U13A team warmed up for the London cup game by continuing their charge towards the league title, with a comfortable 5-0 win against Muswell Hill – so far they have the outstanding record of P5 W5 GF33 GA2 PT15 – and looking well on track to be the new North London Invincibles…
