Week 6: More goals as U12s and U13s continue their surge up tables

Another great week for Kentish Town’s brilliant kids, with all of our teams doing well, and our U12s and U13s continuing to look on track for pursuit of league titles at the end of the season.

Our U13A side comfortably outclassed fellow title challengers Pro Touch, marred only by three lapses in defensive focus, which the opposition took full advantage of. The 5-3 scoreline not reflecting the extent to which Town controlled possession and created chances in a largely one sided match.

Our U12s grabbed a last minute draw against a Hill side who, nevertheless, conceded the points as a result of fielding a number of ineligible players.

Our U11s continued to show the progress that has been evident for the last 6 months of their development, making up for not quite achieving a heroic comeback a fortnight ago with a 4 goal victory over Camden Elite.

Finally our U9s ran out 3-1 winners of their game, with some great goals from Ellis (x2) and Zekie.

With some great individual performances in a range of friendlies taking place this weekend, enabling us to try out a range of new and fringe players at U10 and U11 and showcasing our amazing U7 talent, Town continue to set great performance benchmarks, as we look forward to another spectacular season, and the development of yet more great young footballers.
