Town soar to top of table

A great day in the park for Kentish Town this Saturday, as all our age groups showed the quality they are capable of, scoring 44 goals between them on the way and our U13As regained top spot in the Regents Park A League.

After a disappointing start to the day, which saw our U13B game called off late due to a frozen pitch, our U13A, U12s, U11s, U10s, U9s and U8s all put in some great displays.

Our U8s (who are mostly super-talented U7s playing up a year) ran out 11-0 winners of their game.

Our U9s played two games this morning, winning the first 6-0 and second 13-3.
Some of those U9s went on to play in the U10s game immediately afterwards, the only game Town lost today, going down 1-3 – but scoring a great goal and creating some decent chances in what was a pretty evenly balanced game.

Our U12s 7v7 side – made up mostly of our outstanding U11 group – won its Cup game against Regents Park 8-0, with Jayden Irish bagging 5 goals.

Finally, the U13As continued their charge towards the A League Title, playing their best football of the season as they ran out 5-0 winners against a good Arsenal Community side, putting them 2 points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand and an astonishing positive goal difference of over 50 (achieved in only 9 games).
