New season kicks off for Kentish Town with win for U13s

A great opening weekend of football for Kentish Town, with our U13As kicking off the season with a convincing 4-0 victory against Jolof FC.

In other games, our U13B team were unlucky to not come out winners of a game against the Hill that they dominated, but drew 1-1 as the Hill grabbed a late equaliser against the run of play.

Our multiple trophy winning U11s were also in action, playing a year up in the U12 7v7 league. They found playing at a higher level hard going as they struggled to adjust to a faster and more physical game, but it will set them in good stead for their U11A League debut next week.

Our U8s and U10s also had a run out in CRPL friendlies, with some great goals and performances that bode well for the rest of the season.

A match report on the U10s game is here http://kentishtownfootballacademy.org/event/1478/

With a number of our U7s and U9s putting in some great performances playing a year up in the U8s and U10s respectively, we’re starting to put together a great group of players for 2016-17 at KTFA.
